Hate or love????

What about hate AND love??

This was our first fashion project rating by he famous British university of West England. We start the project in Christmas.  We had to take about 100 photos for things that we love and hate. Then we separated them into categories and we chose one category to work on it. I took the category carousel,  playground,  electronic games and children games. 

The next tag was to create a pattern, a textile, a new fabric design. My subject was very interesting but difficult.  At some point I lose my way but then I manage to think some incredible patterns. I am very satisfied of my work but I know that if I had more time I could did something more incredible. 

This project was the biggest we had until now. I hope that you will love my results!

British punk exhibition 2014

Finally we came in the end of our foundation. For the closing we did an exhibition in punk movement.
  Punk clothes in our days are the typical everyday dress for the most people.  The ideology of punk was created by young teenagers ans rebel followers of a new music style, called punk in the middle of 1970.  The parents of punk style was Vivienne and MalcolmMcLaren Westwood. Vivenne Iis one of the most popular fashion designers and McLaren launched one of the most popular music groups in history "Sex Pistols". Vivenne Westwood created a totally new look. Black, leather jackets, tight jeans, ripped clothing,  dark make-up, corsets, tight mini leather skirts andsharp zarora jewerly. Punks used to rip their clothes purposely, dye it, embellish with thick chains and metal details, like safety pins.
   Betsey Johnson ( my favourite fashion designer ) is a worldwide known fashion designer characterized like " Barbie went Punk". Her designs has similarities with Vivenne's designs.I also inspired from those and I make something new. I tried to combine two separate categorys, Michael Jackson and punk. So I did a black & purple leather jacket embellished with safety - pins, a ripped t-shirt with safety-pins and trucks and one lasy short.

Our exhibition took place at apothikes in larnaka from 19 February until 23 of February. All the work done, the finall results and the exhibition was an unforgettable experience.
