Professional practice.
This lesson expectation was to see the real fashion world in action. Every one of us choose a professional fashion designer to be her leader in this trip.
Leader.
My leader was Lena Savva. She has her own atelier in Nicosia and her collections are mostly inspired from architecture. The most of the time she design outfits order by women. Her skills are pretty amazing. Lena is designing the dresses, organize the rehearsal, make the patron and cut it on her own. Sometimes she is tailoring too.
Experience.
When i went to work with her she accepted me with kindness. She show me the atelier and her working place. Also she gave me advices for my future work and clients. I observe many rehearsals and i understand what is mean patience and endurance! Clients very often are indecision and skeptical but Lena was always nice to them and willing to clear their mind. I enjoy every second i was there and i take a taste from the future too.
My opinion.
Lena is a remarkable person worthy of admiration. Her work is very interesting and her passion can get you inspired.
